Organised by the European Forest Institute (EFI), this webinar aims to discuss the following questions:
- What are the main objectives of the EU Green Agreement and how do they relate to the forest sector?
- How does the forest sector in general view the Green Deal?
- What are the strengths and weaknesses of the proposed Green Deal with respect to the forestry sector from the perspectives of ecological, economic and social sustainability?
- How could the Green Deal be developed to better exploit the capacity of the EU sector to contribute to the main objectives of the Agreement?
ThinkForest is a high-level science policy forum that brings together policy makers, the scientific community and stakeholders to build bridges on pan-European forest and bio-economic issues.
